About

Hi there!

I’m Christina Bass Rossetti.

I’m a South Texas born, turned Georgia girl with a craving for flavorful food. My taste for food is adventurous and my recipes showcase an eclectic combination of cuisine.

For years now, I’ve been cooking and sharing recipes with family and friends. They are my biggest fans and have supported my love for cooking since day 1. There’s nothing that makes me happier than creating Café Christina to be able to share my recipes with the world.

When it comes to food, I’m no picky eater! I’m especially inspired by Mexican cuisine. Since growing up so close to the border, I was lucky enough to have authentic Mexican food on every corner. (And oh boy, do I miss it!) After leaving home for college, I attended Ole Miss for a few years before welcoming my son Landon into the world. I eventually followed my (now) husband, Clay, back to Atlanta where our family currently lives. After being in the deep south for the past 6 years, I’ll always have a place in my heart for comforting soul food. Regardless of where I am in the world, you will consistently find a big range of different types of food here on my blog.

Day-to-day, my family consumes my world and they are my #1 priority. When I’m not taking care of my son, I’m in the kitchen creating something memorable. My kitchen is where my family joins together each day and where my recipes become weekly staples. My home is where my heart and soul collide to create something for everyone’s taste buds. If there is one thing I can promise, it’s that there is always something cooking around here, and there is always an extra seat. So come on over, pour yourself a drink, and enjoy a meal at the Rossetti table.
